Fred BasehoreFred Basehore

Mr. Basehore is a seasoned 47+ year veteran of the payroll community. He is currently the Sr. Director of Payroll Tax & Compliance for Guidehouse Inc. As an active member of the APA, Fred has traveled the country for more than 33 years speaking and teaching payroll professionals. He has been presenting at APA Congress every year since 1991 and quite frequently speaks at statewide conferences.

Accomplishments: APA’s Meritorious Service Award in 1991, President’s Board of Advisors 1993-94. 1992, honored as the APA’s “Payroll Man of the Year”. He serves on the Board of Advisors to BNA’s Payroll Administration Guide since 1991.

Michael is a trusted advisor, trainer, and litigator to hundreds of employers on labor and employment matters. His practice includes defending employers, owners, and members of management in all types of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower, and retaliation claims brought under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, GINA, NYS Human Rights Law, and Labor Law. Michael also defends wage-and-hour actions and claims, including class-action lawsuits, brought under federal and state law. He has tried nearly two dozen cases to verdict in federal and state court and before the NYS Division of Human Rights.

Michael also provides day-to-day counseling for employers on all aspects of labor and employment law and conducts internal investigations; audits; and supervisory and employee training , including sexual harassment-prevention training, on a regular basis. He has given over 700 labor and employment presentations to organizations that include the Society for Human Resource Management, the American Payroll Association, the American Corporate Counsel Association, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Northern District of New York Federal Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and Lorman Education Services.

Wendy Waldron is in the business of building high-performance teams. She is a Professional EOS Implementer®, accomplished medical practice executive, energy aligner, and storyteller. She has long been interested in why we all do what we do, and how we can do it better! Her commitment to recognizing the value and potential in each of us extends to volunteer work, sitting on the boards of local human services non-profits and leading record-breaking fundraising campaigns. Wendy also enjoys traveling light, vertical gardening, performing on stage, and the fact that Wonder Woman shares her initials. She lives in the Adirondack mountains with her family, in their home near the highway.
